COMMERCIAL


Over the years, I was involved in a number of commercial projects. These ranged from simple office remodeling and conversion to new building construction.
 
The most prominent of construction projects I managed was a conversion. The goal was to convert an old office building into a new designer’s studio and showroom. We began by converting the space into two equal sections. One section was dedicated to the designer’s studio and showroom while the other was a commercial workshop and storage space located in the back of the structure.
 
My favorite part was the installation of a spectacular sculpture in front of the office. Even though it weighs a couple tons, the whole mounting and securing of its body to the portal was accomplished by only a couple of tiny, hardly visible screws at the bottom by the base.
