My adventure with construction started almost 40 years ago. I was a teenager when I became a helper and construction apprentice during vacations and breaks from school. My journey took me to Austria where I spent fifteen months working on various construction sites. There, I also learned German organization skills and efficiency from seasoned European craftsmen. When I came to Chicago in 1983, I began working for Michael Anthony Studios. We specialized in custom interior decoration and remodeling, completing multiple jobs in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood and the northern suburbs of Lake Forest and Highland Park. After a couple years, I started my own construction business, continuing my tradition of professionalism and excellence. In order to accommodate the needs of my clientele, I completed a course on mortgage loan origination around 1994 and began serving them in lending capacity. Two years later, I added real estate consulting and became a licensed realtor after the successful completion of Century 21’s program. My combination of financing, realty and construction experience allowed me to provide excellent service to my clients for many years on multiple projects. My service is not limited to workers supervision and inspection, but extends to arranging and documenting financing with lenders and real estate transactions with brokers. Today, I help my clients realize their construction dreams by offering my services in full or partial capacity. Owners can decide whether they want to be passive participants and rely on me as the General Contractor or if they would rather take control of the project and instead need a Project Manager with experience to take care of construction’s everyday hassles. |
